Symbolic rivers and our houses
In the previous article we have promised to discuss concrete life situations, analyzing one by one the way our houses are influenced by the position related to the street (river). Let’s see together the effect of these symbolic rivers on the quality of our life.
1. A straight street
Most of the houses are located along such streets. This is not a bad thing in itself, but only if the traffic is crowded and can cause tiredness and other diseases.
You may also feel yourself “carried away” as if you were living close to a stormy river. If the traffic is not fast, then the river is calm, quiet and balanced, therefore you’ll have no problems.
2. A closed alley
In this situation, the house at the end of the alley is subject to the influence coming with great speed towards the front door. This configuration is not good for an apartment either, or for an office located at the end of a long corridor.
3. A “T” shaped intersection
Here the house is also attacked by the energy coming with high speed.
4. A house at the corner of the street
The inhabitants of such a house can feel unbalanced. This can be due to the fact that one of the relief forms (tiger or dragon, depending on the position of the house) is separated from it by a street. Also, don’t forget to consider the traffic, noise and the lights of the cars which generate negative effects.
5. A “Y” shaped intersection
Like in the case of the alley and the “T” shaped intersection, a building placed in this location is subject to two torrents of negative qi. We can also consider that accidents can take place, caused by the drivers losing control and who might hit the house, with their cars.
6. CUL-DE-SAC
Unlike the houses in image 2, those are subject to good influences, especially if there is a little spot of land in the middle. In this case the spot of land represents the red phoenix dispersing the negative energy. Even if the spot of land does not exist, the location is still good, because the qi can circulate sending the positive influences towards the building.
7. An “U” shaped street
One can see that those living inside such a curve, are suffocated. Although in cities such a position does not occur often, do not buy country side or mountain houses, where the landscape can allow such a configuration (and the street can be a true river).
8. A sudden turn
A building in this position is clearly subject to the influences produced by the noise of the brakes when the drivers want to take the curve, by the lights of the car and even by the possibilty of accidents determined by such a structure of the street.
9. A street like a river with smooth meanders
When the building is in a large curve of such a street, the inhabitants will be protected against the accidents, by the lights of the cars and by the negative energy. The houses in such positions are considered lucky, since the positive qi brings wealth, health and financial success.
Instead of conclusion
It is good to remember something we have mentioned in previous articles: each house is different. Not all buildings are equally affected by the energy coming from outside. In order to correctly realize which are the influences of the energy on a house, we will need to use the formulas of an advanced Feng Shui school, such as the Flying Stars.
Thus we can find out whether that building (apartment) is generally benefic, as well as the manifestation produced by the energies in each room. All these will be taken into account together with the external influences, like those of the configurations explained above. We can not limit ourselves to only one aspect: energy or forms. A traditional Feng Shui consultation harmoniously combines the outside forms with the energies manifested inside. Only then we can correctly determine whether we will be happy, healthy and wealthy in a house or, at the contrary, we will be “touched” by misfortune.
You can use the above ideas to analyze the way the external forms affects the house and yourself as well. For the more sensitive persons (by birth, or persons who gained this quality through energetic practices) it will be easier to sense the influences.
